Second 2.8 Ghz quad core in the a1186? - 2009/04/05 20:23 Hi there, I'm new here so this may well be an obvious question- here goes anyway.

Is it possible to add a second 2.8 Ghz quad core processor into a custom configured single 2.8Ghz quad processor Mac Pro (machine model A1186?)

If so, does it require any further adjustments/parts than simply putting the new processor into the second processor socket?
