Re:Hard drive in quadra 630 - 2008/11/13 08:13 The OS is not the limiter on recognizing the size of the hard drive, it is the IDE controller chip on the board.

I don't know why the 10GB drive would only show up as 1GB but it's not because of System 7. Apple sold several Macs with System 7 that included hard drives larger than 1GB.
