I wouldn't pay much extra for anything called a "refurb". That usually means very little.

Going with the 1.42Ghz like yours is a good choice. The 1.2 will not be much less $$.

As far as buying one I can't recommend any resellers from personal experience. But ebay and LEMSwap (LowEndMac's swaplist on google) would be my first two choices. You can join the swaplist and post a wanted ad and see what people have lying around. I've had good luck on both LEMSwap and eBay, you just have to be a little more careful on eBay. LEMSwap members are generally long time Mac users and probably less of a risk.
