Western Digital 120GB 2.5" Scorpio IDE Hard Drive IDE (PATA) Interface • 5400rpm • 9.5mm Height
OR would this one be better
80.0GB Western Digital "Scorpio" 5400RPM 9.5MM SuperSlim ATA Notebook Drive with 8MB Data buffer. 3 year Western Digital Warranty
Either drive would be fine but....
The 8MB buffer makes a performance difference over other drives with less buffer.
The 120GB drive probably has 2MB if it's not listed in the description so the 80GB drive will give better performance. And if you do not need the extra 40GB of storage there's no reason to get a larger drive.
Seagate drives have a 5 year warranty compared to a 3 year warranty most drives have. I can't say if one brand is really any better than another but the extra 2 years is nice to have.
