Re:powermac 7100/66 - 2008/01/25 11:00 There is no fuse or breaker but there is a battery on the logic board. Some older macs won't boot without a good battery but your situation does not sound like a PRAM battery problem because it was running. But if you leave it on 24/7 and never have to boot it that could be the problem.

First I would check the PRAM 3.7v battery voltage. Second, tru unplugging the Mac and let it sit over night with the battery out. Plug it back in(after puting the battery back in and reset the PRAM when you turn the Mac on and see if anything happens.

If not you could test the power supply to see if it's putting out any voltage. You should be able to find a power supply cheap on eBay. I may even have one out of a 6100 that may be the same.

Also check to make sure the outlet and/or Powerstrip are getting power too. Sometimes it's the most obvious things.
