Startup tone double -clutches - 2006/09/02 20:46 The startup tone on my new Mac Mini (not the duo) has been, for lack of a better term, double-clutching.

It plays, then stops, then the last second of the fadeout plays again. Stops. Then the last second plays a third time. Then it starts up normally.

It didn't do this when it was new out of the box.

Any notion what's causing this and is it symptomatic of a larger problem?
