trash ate my itunes - 2009/09/23 23:16How can I recover my itunes library that I trashed thinking my external hard drive had all the songs saved...they were not and when I go to play a song the exclaimation mark is on every single song..why??? please help! thanks.

Re:trash ate my itunes - 2009/09/24 07:20Are you sure the folder did not move the the other drive? Check that first, if it is on the other drive, go into iTunes preferences and change the “iTunes Media folder location”. You may still have to “find” your individual files, there are articles on this subject, but it has been years!

Re:trash ate my itunes - 2009/09/26 22:57You were fortunate and as you say, "You live and learn." What puzzles me is that I run an external as the main drive and never had a problem saving data. Also an USB Thumb Drive is used as a backup. A set of accounts is kept. Do you have iTunes installed on the external?
