Re:iBook G4/1.33/14" - 2009/09/09 20:39 Thank you for your reply. Usually, when the battery is running out of power, it messages me that I am on reserve power before it goes to "sleep."
During these recent events, the iBook suddenly and completely shuts itself down, and instead of hitting any key to awaken it, it must be re-booted from the power button, and then I get the message that it's time is prior to 2000 and must be reset. There is no clicking noise, i.e. hard drive, and no memory loss. The original battery was replaced in 2007, so this one is about 2 years old.
