Re:Hard Drive upgrade - 2009/08/27 17:26 I'm currently running a DP 533 DA with an ACard dual channel SATA card and a 160 GB SATA drive, and it sees the whole thing. It's also noticeably quicker than the original onboard PATA system.

That being said, there is also an Open Firmware hack that will allow the onboard PATA controller to see large drives; see:

I used this for quite a while on the above machine with nary a hiccup.
