If you have a local, or on-line place to get "PC RAM" (you can return) you will get a better price. RAM sold specifically for a Mac tends to be higher in price but there is no "Mac RAM". The specs are tighter for Macs than most PC hardware so some RAM will not work in Macs but RAM is RAM.
