G3-350, OS 10.0 & Internet Access - 2009/08/08 16:29 Hi, I have an old G3-350 iMac - 128 MB RAM. I'm running OS 10.0/9.1. I'm trying to get this computer to access the internet via cable modem (Comcast). It used to connect when it was running OS 9.1. I talked to Comcast and they want me to connect using the DHCP setting. This is NOT a choice in the Network settings in either 9.1 or 10.0. (It is a choice on my newer iMac running OS 10.4.) The only choices are: "Manually" and "using PPP." Any ideas on what I can do? I tried to install the 10.4 start-up disk but it spit it out. I'm guessing that the 10.4 start-up disks are DVD's and the drive is just a CD drive. Thanks
