Isolating video failure on 933 QS - 2009/07/28 21:28 Video works sporadically during power-on cycle. About once every ten restarts I will get video, the other nine times no video at all.

I have tried two different AGP cards with same results - cards work in my other G4. I tried a different monitor as well - same result.

I suspect the AGP slot itself, but it is only a supposition and know of no way to validate that suspicion. Any thoughts/ideas?

The symptoms manifest themselves no matter if the machine is "cold", or has been running for some time.

I cannot run this system headless, so I somehow need to resolve this problem.

Thanks for your help.
