audio file question 3gbs .wav with zero duration - 2009/07/26 18:41 i'm a bit perplexed at how an audacity file, recognized as a wav file in get info, takes up 2.73GBs, get info also indicates that there is a total bit rate of 6,144,000 and 2 channels (stereo), but it also says the duration is 00:00...

so my question is, what the heck is taking up 3gbs, and why the heck can't i play it? by the way, the file was recorded on a windows laptop using audacity, the os is vista. it's the only audio file of this nature (no sound or duration)

other files on this laptop have the exact same appearance in "properties"(vista) or "get info"(os x-leopard), the difference is those files also have a duration & actually play sound....
