Newton w/ Power Mac G5 - 2006/07/20 19:15 Does anyone out there know if you can use a Newton 2000 with a G5? A friend was cleaning out his closet and gave it to me. Put in some new batteries and fired it up. I really like it (shame it still isn't being made, color would be nice) and would like to be able to connect it to my G5 for data transfer if I could. Would a serial to USB adapter work? Will I need some software of some kind? Thanks guys.

Re:Newton w/ Power Mac G5 - 2006/08/26 15:06 Hi and hope this helps. You may have to make your own usb to serial cord to connect the newton to your g5. If you allready have a usb to serial cord you can try it. I do suggest you try and check some of the German newton sites as they have lots of info to do that and tell how you may be able to do that.
