If it's a 500MHz G3 Pismo Powerbook there are processor upgrades available but are very expensive. And I don't think anyone makes them anymore so you may have to buy on the used market.

512MB of RAM is no problem. Click on OWC's ad on this page and search their site for your model and what is available.
