Ibook 500 keyboard ribbon tab - 2009/04/19 16:37 I have a 12" Ibook G3 5oomhz Dual USB computer. I wanted to replace the keyboard. I ordered thru Ebay a replacement keyboard that stated it was for a G3 or G4 12 Ibook. The keyboard is solid white, not the opaque that it had. the size is perfect however the ribbon connectors are different. the one I have is much shorter than the one that it came with. My question is: Is there an adaptor/fix to connect this keyboard so it fits properly or do I need to return this keyboard and purchase the opaque one with the longer ribbon tab. I prefer the white keys to the opaque ones but need it to fit properly. thank you in advance for you help.
