emac won't go to sleep anymore... - 2006/07/14 06:22 Hi, I have an emac 700 G4 running OS 10.2.8

It started out that my mouse finally gave up, so I bought a new one "GE" and all of a sudden, my computer won't go to sleep anymore. I've tried installing the software/driver for the mouse and it didn't work. Then I uninstalled it. It still doesn't work. I've checked the settings on System Preference and everything looks normal (as in the setup is correct). Keep in mind, everytime I make changes the computer is restarted.

Is it possible that a mouse could cause this? Or a coincidence with a completely different problem? Any advice is appreciated.
