Re:SMU reset on G4? - 2009/03/27 01:10 Try unplugging the small ribbon cable that runs from the front switch panel to the logicboard. If the power button is bad you can still use a Mac keyboard with a power button.

If that doesn't work the PSU is most likely dead. You can test the output of the PSU
