Re:SMU reset on G4? - 2009/03/24 21:39 It appearsto be the Gigabyte ethernet edition (best match of pics in the reference cited above). I tested the battery, which showed 3.6 V in place.
Also tested the input line and got 115 V AC at the computer end of the power cord. Pressed the button once, waited the 10 seconds and then got no action at all on attempting a start. Went through it all again a few minutes later. Still dead. Looks like it's the scrap heap for this one, but thank you very much for the tip. It's a lot easier to toss it knowing that I tried all I reasonably could.
