Sticky Mouse button on Clamshell - 2009/03/08 12:02 Hi all =)
I have a new brainteaser for you =) I have a clamshel iBook that has a super sticky mouse button, so much so, its pretty much unusable. But here is the really strange part... it works just fine if you remove the battery and battery cover! I have tried both combinations, and it will only work with both removed. Any suggestions?

Re:Sticky Mouse button on Clamshell - 2009/03/17 20:50 Something is pressing against the mouse button when the battery is installed. I would take the top cover off to see if there is any apparent problems under the button. If it's been disassembled it may not have been reassembled correctly.

See ifixit.com for take apart guides.
