Problems with Tiger updates - 2009/01/23 20:58 Hi all,
I am having problems updating Tiger OS on my 400 MHz iMac G3. Under the advice of a good friend, I bypassed the system update features and went directly to Apple's webpage to download the updates. The computer froze before I could finish the download. So I tried to reboot, froze. Tried to reboot in safe mode, kernel panic. Tried to boot from C, froze again. As a last resort, I zapped the pram and tried to reboot and I got more kernel panics. I don't have a problem reinstalling the OS, but since I can't get it to boot, I am not sure what other options I have.
