Same question airport card on G3 imac - 2008/10/29 17:13 I recently upgraded my 1mac G3 400 dvd to 1gb of ram and a 60gb harddrive with OS 9.22. and Mac Os 10.4 tiger. The airport card that worked with the other harddrive which has 10.2.8 and classic 9.2.2. worked fine. Can anyone tell me if I did something wrong or will tiger not recognize the Original airport card.

Re:Same question airport card on G3 imac - 2008/11/05 06:59 You could try Radio Shack but it may be easier to find another iMac antennae cable from eBay or LEMSwaplist (LowEndMac's Google Group for buying/selling Mac stuff) There are plenty of the CRT iMac parts around cheap.

You could also try an external antennae for PC cards. I think they have the same connectors.

Re:Same question airport card on G3 imac - 2008/12/22 07:05 Thanks for your help. The antennae is avaible at some apple stores still and some Radio Shacks do carry the connector.
