Ipod Trouble - 2008/10/28 22:15 Hello,

So I have a 20 gig ipod that I got about four years ago, 4th generation I believe. Anyway, I had a spill on my skateboard last week, landed on top of my ipod and got the document picture telling me to go to support. I reset my ipod and then restored it, and it appeared to be working well. The problem is when I go to put my music back on, the ipod syncs about 40 or so songs and then it just freezes up. I can unplug it and plug it back in, but it will just freeze after transferring a few more songs. Most of the songs that do get transferred cut off before the entire song is done playing. I've uninstalled itunes and reinstalled it again, but no luck. Any suggestions or is it broke?

Thanks

Re:Ipod Trouble - 2008/11/08 03:13 sounds like the drive is failing. see about replacing the drive or buy a new ipod.
