Deleting an internet connect configuration - 2008/10/28 13:14I'm hoping this is a stupid question and that I've just overlooked something, but I've been trying to help a friend delete a dialup configuration--he could not connect and just kept setting up "new locations' and now he has about 6. He has also changed providers and would like to delete all those he set up, but neither he nor I can figure out how to do that. Any advice would be appreciated.
He has a goosenecked imac running 10.4.
Thanks, istari

Re:Deleting an internet connect configuration - 2008/10/28 15:33Try going to System Preferences>Networking>Internal Modem and highlighting the locations and hit the little (-) button towards the left bottom of the pane. Let's know if that did the trick?

Re:Deleting an internet connect configuration - 2008/10/29 19:14Actually, it didn't work exactly like that. However, I was able to get to all the configurations through Internet Connect, and then it gave me the list. I could select one and hit the little minus at the bottom--which I would not have noticed. All cleared now. Thanks a lot!
