SATA PCI Controller Card and SATA HDD - 2008/10/12 16:21Good Morning Gang
Anyone actually fitted a PCI Controller Card with at last 2 internal SATA ports in a G4 and installed a SATA drive? Seritek, SIIG and Sonnet seem to be the main brands, has anyopne used a generic low cost card from say Hong Kong as some are reportedly OS 8.6 and above supported?
Interested in card and drive performance, ease of operation and speed increase, if any noted.
