IPOD classic support - 2008/10/02 09:38
I have had an IPOD classic for over 4 years now, no problems until now. Screen directs me to the Ipod support section on the apple website, and occasionally comes up with a picture of what looks like the base of a battery with a lightening bolt through it. Have been through all the resets etc to no avail, took it to the apple shop where I bought it and they looked at it, pronounced it dead, and told me that apple (in Thailand where I live) no longer stock spares for this, so essentially tough [luck]. I have no problems paying for a repair, and find it difficult to believe that an item I paid the equivalent of about 700US for at the time is no longer supported. Is there a central Apple complaints number or email address I can contact or does anyone have another suggestion.
