Re:Goodbye Safari? - 2008/07/17 19:39 Yes Harry, it's horses for courses. I use Safari mainly for accessing bank/business periodical/newspapers sites and find it fast, especially 3.1.2, and safe. Firefox maybe as fast or even faster (haven't tried it since Safari upgrade) but from my experience safety is an issue. I've also found that Firefox collects garbage.

Re:Goodbye Safari? - 2008/07/17 20:10 Google remembers your past searches so it's possible it picks up that you are down under and returns results based on that.

Google uses a really complicated set of algorithms that use your searches as well as others when returning search results so anything is possible with Google and I am always amazed at what it does.

Re:Goodbye Safari? - 2008/07/17 21:41 What I am raising is the fact Google on Safari does not even offer the two search options, world search and Australia only search. Why not I wonder?

Re:Goodbye Safari? - 2008/07/27 13:25 I don't know Harry. Sounds like a good reason to use Firefox to me ;-)

Re:Goodbye Safari? - 2008/07/27 17:03 Spot on mate - just wondered why Apple will not consider this request.

FF 3.0.1 rules!
