That is exactly how it works, cannot get rid of Internet Exploiter at all on a peecee without hosing something.

Re:Goodbye Safari? - 2008/07/16 03:40Harry you have me puzzled. Safari is both Australian and World wide based. Last Friday, for example, I wanted a map to access an Sydney address. That is exactly what I got, a detailed map the same as I would have got with a direction finder in the car. I find Safari superior to Firefox.

Re:Goodbye Safari? - 2008/07/16 16:54It is not Australian based at all.
If I want to search for and purchase say PC2700 1GB memory modules, type that into Google and get choice of searching world wide and also searching Australia Only.
If type into Safari do not get the Australian option, and normally USA, Europe and Canada appear first. Quite often I have to go to page 3 or 4 to find local responses.

Re:Goodbye Safari? - 2008/07/16 19:39You can also narrow the search to Mac only sites with Google by going to advanced search and select Apple Macintosh.

Re:Goodbye Safari? - 2008/07/17 17:09That is not what I wish to do. Can also download and install various software programs I believe and at times search question is not so defined.
If Firefox can make Google available for world wide and user's country why not Safari also using Google apart from Apple plain don't want to?
