getting firewire to work after upgrade to X.4 - 2006/06/29 23:46 I just go X.4 and installed it and then used Software Update to add X.4.7 and everything else. My firewire drives have all disappeared (I had disconnected them before the update). Previous with
X.3 when this happened, I would re-install the latest update. Is this still the way to go or is there a better way?

Thanks for any assistance

System: Ti PowerBook 667 Onyx with 80 gig HD, 768 Meg RAM and using an external SuperDrive (got problems with the internal). the external SuperDrive (firewire 400) is working!

I will attempt to downloan X.4.7 combo update from Apple's site--hopefully this will work.

In the meantime, if anyone has any ideas or ways to correct this problem, please let me know.

Thanks

Art Mickel
