Goodbye Safari? - 2008/06/28 22:34I don't use Safari or Mail, preferring other apps. Can I safely remove both in Tiger?

I don't use mail and rarely use Safari but they don't take up much space so I just leave the apps in the folder. I did find that Safari can download flash files easily so I still use it on occasion.

Also I find Safari very good. I use Safari, Firefox and Camino regularly, each have their strengths.

Re:Goodbye Safari? - 2008/07/15 17:05If Safari is to stay as the number one Mac browser, it really does need to come up to scratch like Firefox. For example, using Google on Firefox, one inserts the query and has the option here in Australia of a world wide web search or Australia Only search.
Do not know if this is the same situation world wide but Apple need to think outside mainland USA or it really is 'Goodbye Safari'.
