Firewire Cable ?? w/ B&W G3 - 2006/06/27 16:16 I believe that the firewire connections on my B&W G3 are "6 pin" and the end on my acom enclosure is the same [and it all works] I want to get another cable [just like it] for the other G3 in the office. I am having some diFficulty w/ the fact that it seems that 6 pin cables are for devices requiring power... which my acom definitely does not! I don't want to e-bay up a cable that don't work!! What think you ?? Thanks. MV

Re:Firewire Cable ?? w/ B&W G3 - 2006/06/27 21:17 I have an Acommdata powered USB/Firewire enclosure and I use the 6 pin cables with no problems. If your Acomm box has a 4 pin connector also (mine has both) you can use a 6 to 4 pin cable also.
