Re:pismo operating system - 2008/05/05 23:39I just put 10.4 on my Pismo. It was running fine with 10.3.9, but a new app required 10.4. I experienced a kernel panic upon the first restart. And another on the restart from upgrading to 10.4.6. After that, it seems to work well enough, though I plan to upgrade my RAM to the full 1 gig (currently 640 MB.)

Re:pismo operating system - 2008/05/19 00:37Here's an update. I've gone to the full 1 Gig of RAM on this Pismo 400. It seems to be running 10.4.6 with no problems. About all I use it for is Firefox and Office, though. Since I stopped using Safari, nothing crashes.
