Discussion Q&A - Living Room PC? - 2006/06/25 20:31 Do you think Apple should release a 'real' living room PC like the Sony Vaio XL2 or Shuttle XPC M2000? Why or why not?

Re:Discussion Q&A - Living Room PC? - 2006/06/25 22:58 i think a bigger mac mini like the vaio xl2 would be awesome. mac for all the music and movie organizing and boot into xp to play games. costs a lot tho.

Re:Discussion Q&A - Living Room PC? - 2006/06/26 11:50 I would welcome a way to combine a computer, TiVO, and an A/V setup in one box. Would make things easy. I'd like Apple's more than Sony because it probably would not be crippled with DRM. But I am not much of a game player. You really think people would boot back and forth to listen to music or play games?? I doubt it.

Re:Discussion Q&A - Living Room PC? - 2006/06/26 15:09 I agree with Scott2 a larger mac mini to serve as a living room computer would be the thing, tivo, windowsXP, OS10, DVD.

Yep, would work for me...

Re:Discussion Q&A - Living Room PC? - 2006/06/26 15:36 I'd buy one as long as they made it easier to upgrade the hard drive than the mini, maybe slides out the back like a drawer to put in more storage would be nice. - Mike

Re:Discussion Q&A - Living Room PC? - 2006/07/03 16:56 i would not have a prob booting back and forth to listen to music, edit a video or whatever on the mac and then booting into xp to play a game. i would get a mini or a macbook now if there was one with a real video card. as is i am kinda stuck. but you are right titus some people prob would just run one os.
