First I would try starting with the Shift key held down. This will disable all unnecessary extensions on start up. If it boots ok with the extensions disabled you probably have an extension conflict or something gone wonky in the extensions.
There are very few Macs that will not boot due to a dead PRAM battery and the 6360 is not one of them. Usually a dead battery will only cause the loss of time (clock setting) and maybe some other PRAM settings. You may need to zap the PRAM on start up if it has not been plugged into a power outlet, but once it's booted and still plugged in you shouldn't have any problems. My old Mac clone and 6360 both have dead batteries and doesn't cause any serious problems. I just get that annoying time error box after it's booted.
