PISMO G3 -->OS 10.4? - 2008/03/20 16:28I am ready to soon get a new Mac but want to get by another month or two. I am getting ready to do my taxes, which I have done on this trusty machine for years with TurboTax. And I load the new basic and..... it wants me to have OS 10.4 to run and will not proceed with my 10.3.9. Am I SOL or is there a relatively easy way to get to 10.4 to do my taxes?

Re:PISMO G3 -->OS 10.4? - 2008/03/20 17:06Unfortunately buying OS 10.4 and doing the upgrade is the only way. It's easy but not free. This is a problem many people have run into with the new version of TurboTax.
You can do it on-line for free if your taxes are relatively simple.
