macbook air hard drive capacity - 2008/02/20 05:38 With only 80GB hard drive, how much would I be able to partition to run reasonably well WIN XP or Vista using boot camp? Any suggestion anyone?

Main concern is the battery, what is going to happen when there is a problem while on the road? This is going to be a scary scenario.

Re:macbook air hard drive capacity - 2008/02/20 09:45 80GB is more than enough for OS X and XP as well as apps and leave room for storage. Neither should really need more than 20GB each.

The battery issue can be solved by getting an auto/air power adapter to plug it in when you are on the road in a car or airplane.

And if you do not already have XP get the Pro version. It's much better than the home version of XP.
