quirky browsers - 2006/06/19 21:14 Hi all, I am having two quirky problems with my browsers, both Safari and Firefox.

1) When typing an address in the address bar or filling info in a window on a web site(ie:password, username, or other data), the first key stroke does not take. After that it works fine.

2) I try and load a web page, either off my favourites or clicking a link it the does not appear to load, if I do nothing after 30 seconds it does, or if I click to stop loading the page then click refresh it imediately.

Any thoughts ? I have a G4 PB 1.67Ghz on 10.4.6

Thanks for any help

Re:quirky browsers - 2006/06/19 22:22 Oppps I should have explained better, it's not just the browsers I'm having the data entry problem. It happens in Spotlight and can happen any where data entry is required in a dialog box
Thanks again
Randy

Re:quirky browsers - 2006/06/19 23:43 Have you repaired permissions or ran DiskWarrior yet ? If not, I would try both of those first. DW is a great app for fixing funky things happening.
