Ipod wont turn on - 2007/04/29 16:42 hi this is wat happened plz help

i had my ipod for ages and just recently i put rockbox on it. it worked fine every now and then i would switch back to the original firmware with the dual boot function. then last night i put it in my dock (the brand is "awa") and it was fine then i tried to switch the firmware while it was in the dock and i got nothing. the ipod just turned off. i cant turn it on and when i plug it into a computer nothing happens my ipod doesnt work. do i need a new ipod. P.s i have an ipod nano 1st gen

Re:Ipod wont turn on - 2007/04/30 21:16 You can try to reformat the drive if it shows up in disk utilities and reload software. If nothing shows up try another way to connect to the computer.

Can you reformat the iPod drive ? Recognize it ?
