Re:mac mini graphics upgrade? - 2006/06/06 17:28I've seen pictures of Half-life on a Mac Mini, so it is technically possible. But, the graphics probably suck pretty bad. If you want good graphics, just pick up a 17" iMac. I doubt the Mac Mini will ever have any good graphics, because they need to keep the price down somehow.

Re:mac mini graphics upgrade? - 2006/06/06 19:06yeah, but i want something that i can move around easier (to friends house for the week etc) than the imac and cheapr. it doesnt have to be the fastest graphics system out there but apple doesnt have a cheaper notebook with a decent graphics card either. i would really like a small desktop system like the mini or a laptop like the macbook jsut with real graphics, and id pay a bit more for it.

Re:mac mini graphics upgrade? - 2006/06/06 20:21Well you can play basically any game on the Mini, but you just need to turn down the graphics because it'll lag if its too high. So if you dont mind sacrificing graphics for size and price, then the Mini would be a good choice.
