Need help w/ a 3rd Gen iPod! - 2007/03/10 15:16 I have a 3rd and 4th gen iPod, but I don't have the usb or anything for my 3rd gen iPod. I currently use my 4th gen to charge my 3rd. But now I want to upload new songs into my ipod but the USB for my 4th gen won't work with my 3rd. It says something about USB not known if I plug in my 3rd gen into my 4th gen cable. What do I do?
Is there any way I can upload songs again to my 3rd gen iPod? My friend suggested to go to the apple store and get another one but do you think they still sell?

---
This problem has been resolved :). I just plugged in my 3rd iPod again just for a try and it asked me to restore my iPod (all your songs will be deleted), and after that you just follow the steps and it'll put the songs back again. Woo-hoo.
