modem for Intel iMac - 2007/01/16 20:25 I just received today my new 1.8 intel duo imac. Imagine my
dismay when I discovered that, contrary to the salesperson's
assurance to the contrary, that it did not have an internal modem.
I've ordered one, but as I read the reviews on Apple's web site,
as many are horrible as are positive, with many having probs
maintaining connections or connecting at all. Should I find the
same problems, does anyone have any suggestions on what to do
to improve the performance? Or if all else fails, does anyone know
of a modem by a different maker that is compatible with the new
macs?
