And without removable battery, it would be a silly thing to get one. What if the battery goes dead when I am really busy in the middle of something very important? . Also it's offering a heck of a lot more storage than i need to store my music, as a business user actually i don't have much time to indulge myself in music, and if i want to have videos or a movie on there as well, that doesn't leave much room.plus,people won't be able to use the phone without using Cingular. It doesn't give users the freedom to choose what service works best for them. If i have a long term commitment with another provider, it would be a big problem.and without high-speed internet access and support for corporate e-mail, it just makes it too difficult for business users to get one....

If I were to get a Cell phone I would probably get the iPhone but the price and being stuck with Cingular would be issues with me. Cingular, more than anything would be the problem for me. i don't like being tied down to one provider by the maker of the phone.

But since I despise cell phones I'll never have to worry about it.... until they pry my home phone from my cold dead fingers ;-)

Batteries can go dead in the middle of important stuff with all devices. Charge it each night.

I agree about business users though. Without support for Word and Excel, I don't see many business people getting iPhones.

I think once it comes out and then Leopard is released a lot of those engineers will be used to ehance the capabilities of the iPhone. I expect to see a lot more programs and add-ons written for the business user who I think will be their main target customer because of its high price . If they can incorporate some of the functions of something like the Blackberry then it will sell well .

You just have to remember that certain carriers have better reception in different areas, so it depends on where you live. I have Cingular's international plan, and it seems to work great everywhere I go. I have a quad-band phone (iPhone is also quad phone) and I even het great reception in remote parts of the world.
Edge isn't so great, but it's not bad either, it's still high speed.
As for you loving Sprint, that probably means you live in an area where cingular is not as dominant, because Sprint sucks when it comes to areas where it works well, but when it does it usually works far better than other carriers. Here is how I Would Order Carriers from Best to "Worst":

1. Cingular (AT&T)
2. T-Mobile
3. Verison
4. Sprint (Nextel)

Those 4 are the main providers, and each has it's ups and downs. Apple Likes to go with the best, so I am certain that Cingular was the best choice.

Why would you need buttons? You'll probably scroll through a list of contacts anyway. And you shouldn't be using buttons while you drive.
And why would you want a removable battery just charge it and go. Also you seem to drive a lot, plug it in in the car.
And if you ask me the storage is too SMALL not big. It's an iPod for crying out loud. It needs to fit all my music and videos. I have over 1500 songs on my computer. that will take about 6-7 GB. I'll barely have room left over.
Also if you don't have time for music why the heck are you looking at an iPhone.
And it does have High Speed, EDGE is slow buit it's still broadband speeds.
and it does support corporate email.
SO you suck at blogging. and obviously this isn't the phone for you.
