powermac g3 video problem? - 2006/12/20 18:10 ya well it didnt last to long..... my pm g3 266 dt video went kaput. when i start my mac i get the bong sound cd spins hd spins monitor comes on for a sec green then goes amber and nothing happens. i removed every item removable from the mobo, ram, battery, cache card, etc. even unplugged power supply and still nothing. is it the adb monitor connection thats gone bad? i havent done anything to the system, its been turned off for about 8 days. i just tried to power on yesterday and nothing. and i dont have a mac pci video card to try with. if i was to get an older pci ati video card would i be ok that way, cause i may get one instead of changing the whole board out. any directions. thanks to all.
