Pismo battery charging problem - 2006/11/20 15:42My Pismo battery died about 6 months ago. Since then I have been running on the yo-yo charger. I have now bought a new (not secondhand) battery and I'm having trouble charging. It arrived with 85% charge and ran a DVD all the way thru with no problems. (Bruce Springsteen in Concert if you must know). When I plugged the Yo-Yo back in it charged about 5% then stopped. The only way I can get it to charge is by ejecting the battery then pushing it back in. It then does another few percent. I have now got it up to 90% in very small steps. I am running Tiger but rebooted into 9.2.2 and it made no difference. I have tried both battery bays - zilch! I have reset using the button on the back, Zapped the Pram - Nothing. I have searched every forum I could find and in one I found someone with the same problem but no replies. HELP!
UPDATE. It turned out to be a dodgy battery. I got a replacement and it works fine.
