Discussion Q&A - MacBook Core 2 Duo? - 2006/11/19 18:55 What do you think about the MacBook 'Core 2 Duo' models? Do you think the latest update is a further enhancement to a nearly perfect product or were you hoping for more? Would you prefer a smaller or larger MacBook? Would you pay more for a MacBook with 'dedicated' graphics? Why or why not?

Re:Discussion Q&A - MacBook Core 2 Duo? - 2006/11/19 22:45 i would like a smaller mpb with dedicated graphics, think the extra money is worth it.

Re:Discussion Q&A - MacBook Core 2 Duo? - 2006/11/20 10:27 Like Ive said before, I would like a Macbook subnotebook or Macbook Pro subnotebook, with an Expresscard 34 expansion slot. There has to be intrest in a small Macbook with some expansion like the 12 inch PBG4. I think some other people would buy a 15 inch Macbook with integrated graphics to keep the cost low.

Re:Discussion Q&A - MacBook Core 2 Duo? - 2006/11/20 12:12 I'd snap up one with a dedicated graphics card, and even be willing to spend a few bucks more.

Re:Discussion Q&A - MacBook Core 2 Duo? - 2006/11/20 12:13 I don't know if I would call the MacBook perfect, but it's pretty close for a low end consumer laptop. I like more expansion options and am still using a heavily upgraded PowerBook G3, but I like how easy it is to upgrade the RAM and HD. Not much to complain about from the view of most consumers. - Mike

Re:Discussion Q&A - MacBook Core 2 Duo? - 2006/11/20 16:04 I would pay more for a MacBook with dedicated graphics, but I would probably just get a MacBook Pro 15 inch if I had the extra money. The MacBook is a nice size and would not want to go smaller than that.
