Help with Powerbook g4 - 2006/11/16 19:51 Hi,

I have recently bought a Powerbook g4 800mhz 15" laptop OSX 10.4.8. This is my first mac product and i have never used or familiar with mac. so i have few questions

1) how do i uninstall a program ?
2) My safari is taking too long how do i speed it up?

Re:Help with Powerbook g4 - 2006/11/16 21:41 To uninstall a program, put it in the trash and empty it. There may be perference files and perhaps some support files installed elsewhere. You can do a search for such things with the name of the application as your search term, but such things usually don't take up a heck of a lot of room, so it's not essential.

About speeding up the browser, I can't help. If you're not happy with Safari, why don't you download Firefox and try it out.
