ipod causes ibook to freeze or restart prompt - 2006/10/31 20:18 When I plug in my ipod and itunes opens up a black box pops up and says "you need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button for several seconds or press the restart button." I restart my computer but it keeps happening. The computer essentially freezes and even if I unplug the ipod I still need to restart. The only time the restart prompt didn't show up the computer froze and I needed to restart anyway. Any ideas?

Re:ipod causes ibook to freeze or restart prompt - 2006/11/12 11:26 This happened to me once with a iPod 3G. Anytime I connected it to the iMac it would crash it. I ended up having to restore the iPod, which erased it, and then sync it again with the computer. Do you have all your music on the compuetr??
