10.4.8 update - 2006/10/02 06:43 Has anybody had any issues with the new 10.4.8 update?

My MacBook White 2.0 went flawlessly, the Verizon Fios I use downloaded the 149 MB update in lesss than 4 minutes. It updated, rebooted twice, and came back up fine. No issues, no blue tint, everything good. Feels a bit snappier, too.

My G4 DP 1.0 Mirrored Drive Door got a 22 MB update, but it hung at the end after the reboot message. I had to shut it down hard with a forced shut down.

But it came back up with no issues, and feels a bit snappier, too.

I was hoping for a little snappier but it's still dog-slow....
