I wouldn't believe everything Windoze says it's doing......

Have you tried timing the same download on both ? At the same time.

Download speeds on my DSL go all over the place. Usually slower than it should be. I can watch mine go from 300k to 0k in a few seconds. The back to about 100k which is still less than it should be.
