Hard drive dies in Wallstreet - 2009/07/09 19:57 I had upgraded to a 30 gb IBM hard drive in my wallstreet and had 10.3.9 on it and while downloading off internet it basically died. I remember reading somewhere that the hitachi ibm travelstar drives do this due to something in the magnetism or magnetic efect of drive
I would like to know what I should do because I reinstalled the software on drive and the computer won't boot.
I also have a lombard with a similar drive and after being on for about an hour it crashes and does the same thing. Thelombard still boots.
What kind of hard drives would be suggested to replace as I need at least 30 gb of space?
Thanks, danny91.
